Just so you guys know, i have been in Dagupan, Pangasinan the whole month. And it was just last April 29th when mom fetched me. And while she was there, i
overheard her conversation with my
Tita Bing. The conversation went something like this:
MOM: ....Ya, im going to have to go back to HongKong.
TITA: ....Ya,
bitaw, you go there first na lang.
ME (barging in and talking in a
lambing voice) : Mommy..Can i come?
MOM: Okay.
Okay? OKAY? okay! Yahoo. So there, i was officially going with her to Hong Kong for
just one day. She was just going to pay her rent and other bills so she'd just leave Manila early morning and go back to Manila at night. But her plans changed when I came. BWAHAHAHA. :)) Anyways, we were on standby coz my mom's tickets are for free and we could only get a flight if one of the passenger's would back out, then we could take the extra seats.
(the benefits of having your mother as a flight attendant). Good thing the flight wasn't full and we were able to leave the Philippines.
When i was in the aircraft na, i kept on thinking about the food. Will it be a sandwich or a meal? Coz the last time i had a meal going to Hong Kong and a sandwich going back to Manila. OMG, i sound so
matakaw. :P Just to feel
"unbored" I just kept watching the TV infront of me. Y'know, the one behind the seat. Oh, btw, i was on board Cathay Pacific. When we finally got to Hong Kong, we had to get pass immigration and surpass the
mataray looking inchik staff there. They were so mean. It looks like there mad or something. I dont get Chinese people. HAHA.
The airport was very big. And it almost had a mall in it! It was so cool :) So while my mom was processing stuff, i was looking around and found a magazine store. I ran back to my mom and asked for $20
(HongKong Dollars).
I bought this magazine that
looked like
CandyMag. But i regret buying it,
it was all in Chinese! I didnt understand anything except the pictures! And right then and there when i was reading, i forgot,
I was in Hong Kong na nga pala. After mom ahs finished doing her "thing", we rode the shuttle bus to go to Harbour Plaza
(its the condo where my mom lives.) The trip was about 45 minutes. And i remember we passed by a bridge that looked like the one in San Francisco. It was such a carbon copy. HAHA! I also noticed that there were graves in the mountains. I dont know why, and it was also surrounded by a solid cement circle.
WEIRD. When we got to the condo, i heard my tummy grumbling. So i told my mom if we could eat at my favorite restaurant who serves the best Spare Ribs. :)) She said yes, so we walked to the other building and got to the restaurant. God, i had a hard time explaining
CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE, PLEASE to the waiter. They totally cant understand english, men. It took us about a minute before he figured out that i wanted a
CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE. Then, when he finally served us the food, i said "Goy say". Coz my mom said it was thank you in Cantonese. After i said that, he smiled and looked at me weirdly. Was it wrong? Then my mom said i pronounced it wrong. WELL SORRY IM MISS NO-PERFECT-IN-CANTONESE.
When we got back we went to the grocery to buy dinner and snacks. And yes, when i say snacks, i mean ICE CREAM. I bought a lot, mehn :)) HAHA. I got so full that i wanted to relax. Then, after 10 minutes of just watching TV, I asked my mom if i could use the Bath tub, SHE SAID YES! YOOHOO! so, I readied the bathtub and all that crap. When i got in, i felt so relaxed, like i did'nt have any problem. haay, how i wish life is like a bath tub. :(
We were suppose to leave that night but since the flight was full and there were no extra seats, we had to take the flight in the morning. I got up very early, around 5AM and gpot readied. The shuttle was going to arrive at 6AM. When it finally arrived, i had to take another 45 minutes journey. FUN, RIGHT? : When we got to the airport, all flights were full. Until 6PM. it was so horrible waiting the whole day. DAMN. But atleast i was able to shop and bought me some new clothes. YAHOO! :)) I also passed by this novelty shop which was really cool! HAHA. We got on the 6PM trip and arrived in Manila at around 8:30PM. And here i am now, writing about my
HELLO HONGKONG, BYE HONGKONG experience. :)
